The Scandic Regatta complex is located in the Republic of Karelia on the shore of the Ladoga Lake, 50 km from the Russian border with Finland. Not far from the complex there are popular natural attractions: the largest island of the Valaam region and the Ruskeala mountain park.
The project includes a hotel for 135 rooms, 10 houseboats, a marina for 100 yachts, 3 restaurants, a SPA complex, a fitness center, a swimming pool, a helicopter platform. This is the first facility of this scale on the territory of the republic.
In 2016, Russia demonstrated a stable strengthening of its position in the hotel business. Growing indices of domestic and inbound tourist flow stimulate the rapid development of the hospitality industry in many Russian regions, in particular, in Karelia, which is one of the key tourist destinations of the country.
